Each year, the Star Wine List of the Year Awards celebrate the very best the wine world has to offer: outstanding wine lists, but above all, the meticulous, passionate, and creative work of the sommelier teams behind them. This past April, Le Coureur des Bois had the honor of shining at this prestigious international competition, winning two gold medals:

• Grand Prix for Best Wine List
• Best Long List

This double distinction confirms the excellence and reputation of our cellar, built with patience, expertise, and deep knowledge of terroirs, vintages, and the most discerning producers.

A Wine List Like a Symphonic Masterpiece

The jury was full of praise. Master Sommelier Stefan Neumann, known for his high standards, likened our list to a musical masterpiece:
“Great wine lists are like great classical composers. And this list? It’s the masterpiece of one of those geniuses! Imagine Beethoven’s 9th Symphony on steroids!”

It’s hard to imagine a more powerful recognition for a list boasting over 1,500 selections from the most prestigious estates and the most sought-after vintages across the globe. This careful, passionate, and intelligent curation gives our cellar a truly unique character that reaches far beyond our borders.

This recognition is, above all, a tribute to a tight-knit, talented team driven by a passion for wine.
