Cogir is pleased to announce the acquisition, in cooperation with its long-term partners, of Résidences Lachance, its first retirement home in beautiful Lanaudière.

 

It is indeed yesterday evening that Cogir Real Estate has finalized this transaction with the Lachance family. “We want to express our great appreciation to the Lachance family for its cooperation and the confidence it has shown Cogir by placing in our hands these magnificent homes that it has cared for since 2003. The family’s unparalleled management has provided it with a spotless reputation in the region. Our goal is to maintain the excellent service enjoyed by the residents while allowing them to discover that special care which is unique to Cogir retirement homes,” says Mathieu Duguay, Cogir Real Estate’s President and Chief Executive Officer. Located on Wilfrid-Ranger Street in Saint-Charles-Borromée, a few steps away from the Lanaudière Regional Hospital Centre, these renowned retirement homes feature nearly 240 independent-living apartments. Some sixty new colleagues currently working there under Ms. Isabelle Boudreault, General Manager, will be joining the Cogir family.
