Inauguration of the 31st Multi-Service Center at Résidence Lumia
On November 5, Résidence Lumia, located in Pointe-Claire, officially inaugurated its brand-new Multi-Service Center (CMS), the 31st to open within the Cogir residences.
An CMS is a centralized space bringing together, under one roof, a variety of professional services offered directly to residents. The goal is to simplify access to care, reduce the need for travel, and provide an environment where comfort, safety, and everyday convenience are at the heart of the experience.
To celebrate this long-awaited opening, several service providers were onsite to present their offerings to residents. Their participation greatly contributed to the success of the event. The new MSC generated tremendous interest, with residents showing up in large numbers to meet the providers, ask questions, and discover the range of services now available on-site.
The event was thoughtfully organized by Mélanie Rose, manager of the Lumia MSC, with the support of the residence’s dedicated team. After several months of work, the inauguration marked an important milestone — the much-anticipated big day.
The day unfolded in a warm and friendly atmosphere: an excellent lunch with the providers, followed by an engaging afternoon with residents, complete with door prizes and many opportunities to speak directly with the professionals.
The Lumia MSC will offer a wide range of services, including:
• notary services,
• a physician,
• an optometrist,
• specialized nurse practitioners,
• seamstresses,
• dry-cleaning services,
• financial services,
• and much more.
The new spaces were designed to promote comfort and ease of access: a welcoming, open, and bright waiting area, along with five consultation rooms shared among the various service providers.
The regional manager, Ms. Dominique Marquis, highlighted the significance of this opening in the development of the residence:“I am extremely happy and proud to inaugurate our very first MSC within my portfolio. It is an incredible added value for our residents, and a major step forward in the range of services we aim to offer.”
The opening of the Lumia MSC marks an important milestone for the residence, further strengthening the proximity, quality, and diversity of services available to residents.
