Cogir Management USA Adds Three New Retirement Homes to Its Management Portfolio.

Cogir Management USA, Cogir Real Estate’s American management subsidiary, is expanding as the company becomes, in early August 2023, the manager of three new retirement homes in the states of Arizona, Colorado and Washington.

These three retirement homes offer evolving lifestyles catering to active and independent or to seniors requiring help in their daily lives. The Harvard Square Residence by Cogir in Denver can also provide services to people experiencing cognitive impairment. With this transaction, there are 56 properties on American soil that are under Cogir management, representing over 7,000 housing units located in 11 U.S. states.

“We are particularly delighted to having obtained this management mandate, as two of these three residences involved are owned by a new client of ours. The third residence belongs to a longtime client for whom we are already managing several residences in Canada and in the United States. In addition, our presence in the United States is now growing, particularly in the states of Arizona and Colorado. This new mandate dovetails nicely with our plan to grow on American soil as well as with Cogir’s overall business development plan,” states Matthieu Duguay, Cogir Real Estate’s chief executive officer and chief investment officer.

Overall, 496 new dwellings are being added to the portfolio, ranging from bachelor units to two-bedroom apartments. Moreover, the three retirement homes feature a variety of common areas catering to every taste. Among other things, residents can enjoy the services of a hairdresser, a movie theatre, a restaurant, an art studio, a gym and much more!
